DABOV and our infrastructure provider, Shopify, use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the secure operation of dabov.com.tr, to remember your shopping cart, and—only to the extent you permit—to improve your experience, generate usage statistics, and measure marketing activities.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. Local storage, pixels, and similar identifiers are also included under the term “cookie” in this policy.
2. Cookie categories and your right to choose

4. Third-party tools
Application pixels and custom pixels managed by Shopify are limited by the Shopify Customer Privacy preferences you set for the relevant category. When DABOV begins using a non-essential third-party tool directly in its theme code, it configures such tool so that it does not operate without consent and adds the provider, purpose, and duration information to this inventory.
5. Legal basis and transfers
Strictly necessary cookies for maintaining your cart and checkout session are based on the legal ground of the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c of KVKK); necessary technologies used for transaction logs required by law are based on legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç); and security cookies that prevent misuse and fraud are based on legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f), provided they do not override your fundamental rights, as determined by our balancing assessment. We use functional, analytical, and marketing cookies based on your explicit consent. Since Shopify’s store, payment, security, and analysis infrastructure is located abroad, data related to cookies may be processed abroad by Shopify and its relevant sub-processors to the extent of your selection and the functionality used. It is a fundamental principle that no cross-border data transfer occurs without the applicable safeguards—such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or other transfer conditions specified by law as per Art. 9 of the KVKK—being effectively in place.
6. Browser settings and contact
In addition to the preference panel, you can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect the operation of essential functions such as the cart, account, or checkout.
