At DABOV Specialty Coffee, we believe that the future of coffee is green; and not just in the cup. That is why for over 15 years, we have been working with a sustainable approach that cares for the environment, farmers, and society. We carefully plan every step from farm to cup to minimize our impact on nature while making the most positive contribution possible to flavor.

 Responsible sourcing

We choose partners who share our values. We work directly with farmers and cooperatives that avoid harmful chemicals and have adopted sustainable agricultural practices that care for soil and water. Whenever possible, we prefer methods that reduce our carbon footprint, such as bulk shipping and sea freight.

Energy-efficient roasting

Our roasting facility is equipped with high-efficiency machines that reduce energy consumption. We optimize the roasting process to bring out the best in every coffee without compromising on sustainability. We plan our production process to minimize waste and energy consumption.

 Nature-conscious packaging

Our packaging preserves the freshness of the coffee while also caring for nature:

• Coffee bags – made from recyclable or compostable materials.
• Biodegradable capsules – made from plant-based raw materials that decompose without polluting the environment.
• Reducing plastic use – we are transitioning to paper and reusable solutions wherever possible.
• Product labels – printed with water-based inks on sustainable materials.

 Small steps , big impact

• We sort all recyclable waste in our production and stores.
• We encourage the reuse of coffee bags and boxes at our locations.
• We are working on a “coffee grounds reuse” program that repurposes coffee grounds for compost and fertilizer.
• We invest in training our team and community on sustainable practices.
